July 12th, 2010UncategorizedHave you seen the bottle for blue jean Alice Paul Gaultier’s “Classique” fragrance? I have to admit I hadn’t until I happened to see an ad for one a few hebdomad ago, although the fragrance? have been around for more than a decade The reason we’re talk about this on TLP, though, is because the bottle are shaped like a woman’s trunk and new designs are introduced every year – often the bottle are dressed in seductive lingerie! Here are some of the present and past version of the bottle:
In 1993, Gaultier described the then-new scent to Women’s wear Daily:
“One part dusty loose powder, like my grannie wore — I think it was old Coty; one part that olfactory perception you get when you are posing in the front row of the theater — for me, I think of going to The Chatelet when I was 12, and the curtain turn up, and the hot lights are on the costumes, wig and sets, and you breathe it all in. And, just to be modern, one part nail gloss remover!
“But listen, this is not a joke. I set out to create something you really want to wear odor are important because they remind you of certain people If you olfactory perception this and you think of me, I want it to be good! And there are flowers, vanilla, a mass of things.”
Classique can be purchased at JeanPaulGaultier.com, where some bottle can also be personalized. Any of these would make such a pretty add-on to your vanity or salad dressing table!
